Our Staff


 

Lonnie Wright was a successful business man, owning several local companies, however his true passion came to fruition when he started Nothing But Net Sports Academy. Coach Lonnie brings a passion and love for the game. Coach enjoys teaching basketball, and more importantly, life skills to our youths.  As well as being the director of NBNSA, Coach Lonnie is the head varsity basketball coach at Saint Marks Catholic High School. Prior to coaching basketball, Coach Lonnie coached Baseball for ages 12-18 for 21 years. Lonnie is a dedicated father & husband, supporting his family while pursuing his dream of youth sports. 
 


 

     Kelly is a native of Cecil County, Maryland. After high school she attended and graduated from the University of Delaware. During her undergraduate days at the University of Delaware, Kelly began working in her mother’s law firm. Despite the difficulty of being a single parent of two small children, she graduated from Widener School of Law in May, 2007. Since being sworn in as an attorney by the Court of Appeals of the State of Maryland, she has practiced law in Cecil County for the law firm of Sharon C. Walla, P.A. now currently known as The Walla Law Firm, PA.. The firm is a small boutique style firm which focuses on real estate settlements, estate planning, probating and small business planning.



 

Jewell was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She received her business degree from Katharine Gibbs Business School in New York, NY. Jewell relocated to Delaware in 2004, where she worked with JP Morgan Chase as Derivatives Analysts. Jewell became part of the NBNSA staff in 2018 where she quickly became an integral part of our program. Jewell loves movies, bowling and is a die-hard basketball mom who loves spending her free time watching her two wonderful boys play ball.
 


 

Megan has spent the majority of her career in the Insurance industry, specializing in Professional Liability and holding multiple professional license designations. After her children became part of NBNSA basketball, Megan began working with the organization in 2020. Megan is a liaison to the many families in our program, as well as maintaining our program's social media accounts, website and all  communications.

Megan quickly experienced the reward in working with youth sports and has a desire to see young men and women grow & develop their on & off court skills. Megan enjoys the excitement of watching her 3 boys play basketball as well.
 



            Brian served as an authorized representative for mid-Atlantic delegate selection and on the Credentials Committee for the Democratic National Convention. Prior to his roles in the 2020 presidential campaign, Brian served as the Projects Director for Joe Biden during his time as a United States Senator. He is currently a member of the Democratic National Committee.  

Brian is the Past-President and founding member of Delawareans For Economic and Environmental Development (DEED), a coalition of labor, civic, environmental, and business leaders which champion balanced policies that expand the tax base and create private sector jobs while enhancing and protecting the environment.
