2024 SUMMER BASKETBALL SEASON
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR SUMMER SEASON:
- When does the season run? June 10th – August 5th
- What are the age groups? Our age groups are 7-10 years, 11-13 years & 14-17 years
- What is the age cutoff by birthday? Athletes must be the correct age by June 1, 2024
- Can my child play outside of their age group? No. Each athlete must play their correct age (management has the right to make exceptions to this rule)
- What days do the age groups play? 7-10 play Mon & Wed/ 11-13 play Tues & Thurs/ 14-17 play Fridays only (2 games) (this is tentative)
- How many games & practices are there? Each team plays 2 times per week. Some days will be a game and some will be practice. We break the week of July 4th.
- What times do age groups play? We cannot give times, as scheduled vary by team each week. Games typically start by 6:10pm.
- What is your location? 4101 Newport Gap Pike, Wilmington, DE 19808
- Does my child get a uniform? Athletes are given a jersey. Shorts are not provided
- Why do you do assessments? Only to help make teams even by skill level. We may also move athletes around mid-season if teams are significantly uneven
WHO WE ARE
Nothing But Net Sport Academy (NBNSA) is a growth and development program based out of Wilmington, Delaware. Our co-ed leagues operate year-round and accept participants ranging in ages 5 to 17 years old. NBNSA has quickly become the second largest youth sports program in the state of Delaware and is continuing to grow.
NBNSA is also home to Delaware Ignite, a nationally ranked and rated AAU basketball program, currently competing at the 4th - 12th grade levels.
